At the beginning of the school year, student accident insurance brochures are distributed to all families.
The district provides insurance through Student Assurances for student injury medical costs not covered by the individual family's independent insurance company . If your child becomes injured during the school day and requires medical attention, the school office will have the necessary form for the parent to complete for filing a claim. Any receipts for costs you incur not covered by your family insurance due to the injury must be submitted and you will be reimbursed by Student Assurances. Please be sure to look for this information at the beginning of each school year. Also included in the brochure is information on how to purchase additional 24 hour insurance coverage for a nominal fee.
