Berkley's social studies curriculum was under review during the 2008-09 school year.  Following lengthy study and research, the team of K-12 teachers and administrators recommended the adoption of the MiCitizenship curriculum found at:    http://www.micitizenshipcurriculum.org/  In addition to this primary resource for teachers, new text books with support materials were recommended for World History and A.P. World History courses at Berkley High School.  All recommended components were approved by the Board of Education.
