Enrolling in Berkley Schools as a non-resident through Schools of Choice is a two step process.  You must first apply during the application period.  Once accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter with directions on how to complete the enrollment process.
 
Schools of Choice 2014-15 (Kindergarten - 5th grade) [The 2014-15 application period is now closed. No additional applications will be accepted for 2014-15.  Students on the waiting list will NOT be placed ~ you must re-apply ~ date TBD.]
The Berkley School District Board of Education has approved limited Schools of Choice (Section 105) openings in Kindergarten through 5th grade for Oakland County residents for the 2014-15 school year.  The application period is February 24 - March 14, 2014The application will be available effective February 24Completed applications must be returned online or returned to the Superintendent's office, 14700 W. Schools of Choice 2014-15 (Berkley Scholars - 9th grade entry) [The 2014-15 application period is now closed. No additional applications will be accepted for 2014-15.]
The Berkley School District Board of Education has approved limited Schools of Choice (Section 105) openings in the Berkley Scholars Program (9th grade entry) for Oakland County residents for the 2014-15 school year.  The application period is April 14 - May 2, 2014.  The application will be available in the Principal's Office and in a folder below effective April 14.  Completed applications (and supporting documents) must be returned to Mr. Randall Gawel, BHS Principal, 2325 Catalpa, Berkley, Michigan, 48072, or faxed to 248.544.5860.  No applications will be accepted after the deadline of 4:00 p.m., May 2, 2014.  All applicants must provide evidence of criteria requirements (see Berkley Scholars Program information sheet below) and complete an interview.  All applicants will be notified of their enrollment status via letter postmarked May 16, 2014.  Once you have received your acceptance letter, then you must complete the enrollment process.  For more information, please contact Mrs. Charlene Kondrat, 248.837.8104 or ckondrat@berkleyschools.org  Status letters regarding Schools of Choice Berkley Scholars placement will be mailed May 16.
