The Berkley Education Foundation raises funding through annual pledges, community contributions, fundraising events, and corporate support. Foundation Board & School Board Support Since its inception, the Foundation Board of Directors and the Berkley Board of Education has supported the Foundation fundraising efforts 100% through personal contributions by its members. District Staff Support Each year the Foundation gives district personnel the opportunity to financially support its goals. Individuals make year-long pledges and one-time contributions to the Foundation through its Partners for excellence Campaign conducted annually in September. Community Support The Foundation has received support from its major donor program, district-wide mail campaign, and memorial and honorarium contributions from within the community. Corporate Support Corporations within the district and those conducting business with the district itself have provided support to the Foundation by sponsoring events, general donations, and advertising in Foundation event programs. Fundraising Events The Foundation has sponsored a number of fundraising events to help support its mission. Annual events include the Walk 4R Kids, Fall Telephone Solicitation, and Kaleidoscope Concert in addition to its on-going Commemorative Engraved Brick Paver Program and "Smart Carts Raise Smart Kids" Program.
