The 7th Annual Off to the Races will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016.
This annual event raises funds for the Berkley School District. The purpose of the BEF is to help maintain and enhance educational opportunities and programs for Berkley students.
There are several ways to get involved:
- Sponsor one of 12 races that will be held that night. Your name will be mentioned frequently leading up to the event and receive prominent attention at the event. The cost to be a race sponsor is a minimum $250 donation.
- Own a horse that will run at the event. This privilege comes at a minimum $25 donation. There are a limited number of horses available so don’t stall.
- Donate auction items or prizes. All evening long, we will have an auction and give away prizes to those attending “Off to the Races.” Items or services donated are deductible as allowed by law.
- Finally, please join the fun and attend the event. “Off to the Races” will be held at the Great Lakes Culinary Center in Southfield, on February 6, 2016. Tickets are $25 per person in advance and $30 at the door, and include hors d'oeuvres, pizza, horse racing, auction, and cash bar. Doors open at 6:30 pm, racing begins at 7:15 pm.
