Dear Berkley Schools Families,
I’m writing to let you know that Athletic Resource Fee (ARF) rates are increasing for the 2026-27 school year. These rates have been reviewed and approved through our District budget process. The new fees are outlined per school level, below.
High School Annual Athletic Resource Fee 1st & 2nd sport: $195 each (3rd sport is free) Reduced rate*: $80/sport Free rate*: $50/sport
Middle School 1st & 2nd sport: $125 each (3rd sport is free) Reduced rate*: $50/sport Free rate*: $30/sport
Family Max: $585 across the district, regardless of how many students or sports are involved.
* Families who qualify for free or reduced meals also qualify for reduced ARF rates. If you believe you may qualify for reduced fees, please fill out the Education and Nutrition Benefits Form in the Online Back to School packet.
As we prepare for another year of athletics, these updated fees will help us continue providing high-quality opportunities for our student-athletes. They support investments in coaching, the continued growth of athletic programming across the district, and increasing costs associated with officials, event staffing, and game management.
As part of this review, we also researched fees across Oakland County school districts to help ensure Berkley Schools' rates remain reasonable while continuing to provide a strong athletic experience for our students.
FinalForms We are also moving payment of the Athletic Resource Fee to FinalForms from MiStar. This is being done to consolidate all necessary registration requirements in one place.
Please do not complete the payment portion on FinalForms until rosters have been finalized. Payment is due prior to the first contest.
A reminder that the rest of the FinalForms process (parent signature, student signatures, and an up-to-date physical) is required prior to the first day of practice.
