Naturalist Visits Rogers 4th Grade

Naturalist Visits Rogers 4th Grade

On April 28, Rogers Elementary fourth grade students got a hands-on experience with a variety of animals when Naturalist Randy Baker visited their classroom. Students had the chance to interact with frogs, snakes, snapping turtles, a tarantula, a pigeon, and even a ferret.

Throughout his presentation, Mr. Baker covered topics about these animals such as life cycles, adaptations, physical characteristics, and symbiotic relationships. He also shared the importance of healthy habitats and the impact humans have on the ecosystems around them. The visit offered students a unique opportunity to learn more about wildlife and natural environments.
