Norup Students Enjoy Annual Color Fun Run
On Friday, October 24, Norup students enjoyed their annual Color Fun Run. Students received a variety of Fun Run–colored t-shirts from the Norup PTA, depending on their grade level, before heading out. Leading up to the run, students stretched and danced to some of their favorite high-energy tunes played by a DJ. While students completed their laps, PTA volunteers squirted colored cornstarch into the air along with bubbles. Students ended up with tie-dye shirts when the dust settled. In addition to the usual festivities, this year also included an inflatable costume race by Norup staff members, including Principal Yowchuang! The whole school came out in shifts, and fun was had by all. The Fun Run is an annual tradition and the biggest fundraiser for the Norup PTA.
