Rogers Students Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a Tea Party

Rogers Students Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a Tea Party

On Wednesday, February 11, Rogers Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students celebrated Valentine’s Day with a joyful tea party full of kindness, connection and celebration. Dressed in Valentine’s colors and fancy outfits, students gathered to share treats and practice the important social skills that help Rogers Raccoons grow: using polite manners, including friends in their conversations and play, and expressing gratitude.

The rooms were filled with laughter, thoughtful conversations and plenty of “please” and “thank you” as students practiced hosting and being gracious guests. Principal Katie Lewis shared, “Events like this remind us that even our youngest learners are building the foundations of empathy, friendship, and community. It was a heartwarming afternoon that reflected the caring spirit that makes Rogers such a special place to learn and grow.
