AMS Safety Drill Follow-Up

Dear AMS Students and Families,

I just wanted to send you a quick follow-up to our school safety drill that was held this morning.  I think we all recognize that the topic of school safety and associated safety drills aren’t always comfortable to navigate, but when we approach school safety collaboratively, we are able to support one another.  As expected, our staff and students did a wonderful job navigating this difficult topic.  Classes held productive and informative conversations in response to the hypothetical situation posed at AMS which, in turn, helps students and staff feel more empowered in the face of a school threat.
