Rogers PTA - Caring and Sharing 2022

Hello Families,

Caring and Sharing starts NOW! Caring and Sharing is a long standing fundraiser to help feed those in need in our community. The fundraiser will consist of a MemberHub fundraiser and funds donated from PTAs/PTSAs/school communities. Those funds will be used to purchase Hollywood Market grocery gift cards for families in need. Online donations are accepted until December 7! Give here!

As a district, we have historically fed between 100-130 families in the Berkley School district and provided food boxes for area veterans. Funds for the program come from our schools and the PJ/Hat Day events. In 2021, we raised over $24,000 and fed over 100 families, and gave $1000 to the VFW. It was an amazing C&S season. 

This year, we expect the need to be just as high, if not higher. As a result, it will be critical that we raise as much money as possible so that we are able to give our families generous gift cards to purchase groceries to meet their needs over the holiday break. We hope to crush our goal and give generously to our families in need this holiday season.

Rogers would like to support the efforts of caring and sharing by sponsoring several Rogers Cares Spirit Days.

November 18, Hat Day, $1 suggested donation

November 23, Pajama Day, $1 suggested donation

November 28, Helping Hand Glove Donations, donate new gloves

December 2, Homemade Holiday Cards, send in to your child's classroom teacher for families who will receive a Caring and Sharing gift card

December 9, Class Color/School Spirit Day, $1 suggested donation

December 14, MVP Day, wear your favorite team, character, or inspirational shirt. $1 suggested donation.

***These days are optional along with the donation. To make it a little easier to remember if you would like to send in $4 on November 23 please feel free to do so. All donations will be submitted to the classroom teacher and collected by the PTSA.
