Welcome to Berkley Building Blocks!
We believe that the future of our society depends on our ability to nurture the optimal growth and development of every child. High quality early childhood programs develop strong partnerships with families to every child's foundation. Children need to become enthusiastic life long learners who succeed in school and life.

Star Rated through Great Start to Quality
Building Blocks has a four star rating through Michigan’s Great Start to Quality which is a tiered rating system for early childhood centers.
Parents are invited to attend monthly educational sessions called Parent Cafés that focus on a variety of themes guided by Building Blocks staff. These sessions help educate parents and provide a toolbox of information to use at home.
In-House Field Trips
Students experience different cultures, are exposed to multiple art forms and learn about the world in our in-house field trip series. We bring experiences to our students in the comfort of our centers.
Teachers meet with parents individually throughout the year to discuss students’ success and methods that can be used at home to emulate the classroom.
Families are encouraged to participate in after-school activities such as the annual Ice Cream Social, Dino Night, and Fall Festival. Building Blocks PTA and GSRP and Head Start parent advisory groups create a place for parents to support our programs.
