Burton, Angell & Rogers Fun Runs

Burton, Angell & Rogers Fun Runs

It’s Fun Run Season!

The Fall is Fun Run season at all elementary schools. Last week, Angell, Burton and Rogers all held their annual fun runs, sponsored and organized by their PTAs.

Angell

Angell students enjoyed their annual Fun Run on Friday, October 7. Students lined up under the starting line banner and were sent off by Principal Vince Gigliotti. They then ran around the block and were greeted by friends and family cheering them on.

Students raise funds leading up to the Fun Run, with the goal of earning prizes for the top fundraisers and top classrooms. The Fun Run is the largest fundraiser that the PTA holds all year. Angell met their fundraising goal which means Principal Gigliotti will sing “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto to the whole school!

Burton

Burton students participated in the annual PTA sponsored Fun Run on Friday, October 7. They warmed up with music from Star Trax and ran with their classmates around the field and track.

Rogers
