Caring & Sharing begins today!
It's time for our annual Caring & Sharing initiatives sponsored by the Berkley Area PTSA Council. As a district, we have historically fed between 100-130 families in the Berkley School district and provided food boxes for area veterans. Funds for the program come from our school community and Hat Day fundraiser events. In 2021, we raised over $24,000, fed over 100 families, and gave $1000 to the VFW. It was an amazing Caring & Sharing season.
This year, we expect the need to be just as high, if not higher. As a result, it will be critical that we raise as much money as possible so that we are able to give our families generous gift cards to purchase groceries to meet their needs over the holiday break. We hope to crush our goal and give generously to our families in need this holiday season.
Caring & Sharing primarily consists of a district-wide MemberHub fundraiser. Those funds will be used to purchase Hollywood Market grocery gift cards for families in need.
