Xello + Xello Family: College + Career Research Tool

Students must complete Start Here lesson in Xello by May 1, 2024

As parent-teacher conferences take place today, we want to emphasize the significant impact that Xello and Xello Family can have on your student's academic and career planning journey. Xello serves as a 24/7 online program, providing your student with opportunities to explore colleges, engage in self-discovery, explore majors, and make informed decisions about their future.

Xello Overview:

Xello is a comprehensive platform empowering students to research colleges, understand strengths, review potential majors, and select career fields aligned with their passions and goals.

Start Here Lesson - An Annual Requirement:

The Start Here lesson is a crucial component fulfilling the annual Education Development Plan (EDP) requirement mandated by the state of Michigan. Students have been using Xello for their EDP since middle school.

This year, many students had the opportunity to complete the Start Here lesson in their Math classes. For those who haven't, they have received emails from Xello yesterday and today. Rest assured that students can complete the Start Here lesson at home!

Important Deadline:

The Start Here lesson should be completed by May 1, 2024, ensuring compliance with the state of Michigan's EDP requirement.

Xello Family extends the benefits of Xello to parents and guardians, allowing active participation in their child's educational and career planning! Gain insights into college research, strengths, majors, and career fields.

Action Required for Xello Family Access:

Parents and guardians, expect an email today with a link to facilitate Xello Family accesss. This link will be active for 7 days, providing ample time for you to establish this crucial link and actively participate in your child's journey. Some of you accessed Xello Family last year.
