An Important Message from Principal Beth Meacham

Dear Rogers Families,
It is with mixed emotions that I write this letter to inform you that I have decided to retire at the end of this school year. This is, first and foremost, an open letter of gratitude to the entire Rogers community, for all of your support and collaboration.
After 20 years in the Berkley School District, I consider myself fortunate to have been a part of this amazing community, and I am humbled by the trust that has been put in me to help guide your children’s learning and thankful for your partnership in education. In addition, it has been a gift to work alongside Rogers’ amazing teachers and other staff, and I am grateful for all that I have learned from them. Finally, the students have made each and every day meaningful. I have learned much from them as well, and they will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Please know that my dedication and commitment to Rogers will continue through the end of the school year. Under the guidance of Superintendent Scott Francis, our District will involve stakeholders in the process of selecting my replacement. The goal is to have someone in place before this school year is over, to ensure a smooth transition for our school community.
Please feel free to inform your children about this, and know that I will be visiting each classroom to explain this to the students myself.
It has been my pleasure to serve as Rogers’ principal. There is so much that I will miss, but it is time for me to move on to other endeavors and the next chapter of my life. I wish all of you well, now and in the years to come; and I am glad to reside in the Rogers neighborhood where I will be able to see many of you out in the community. The Rogers community is and always will be a wonderful place to live and learn.
Sincerely,
Beth Meacham
Principal
