Conferences and Book Fair Reminder - March 16

Good Morning AMS Families!

This is just a reminder that the deadline to sign-up for virtual parent teacher conferences is today at 4:00 p.m. to allow adequate time for teachers to prepare information for each conference.  After 4:00 p.m. today, you will no longer be able to schedule a conference through the conference sign-up website.  If you still need to schedule a conference, please click on the AMS Conferences Link.  Conferences will take place tomorrow, March 16, from 8:00-11:30 a.m., 12:30-3:00 p.m. and 5:30-8:00 p.m.  There is no school for students tomorrow.  

Also tomorrow, students and families can shop the AMS Scholastic Book Fair in person in the AMS Media Center from 8:00-11:30 a.m., 12:30-3:00 p.m., and 5:30-8:00 p.m.  March is Reading Month so make sure to stock up on all your favorite books! To help support Reading Month, AMS will be holding our annual Read-A-Thon on Monday, March 20.  The goal is to promote reading while raising funds to support a visit from Author Jack Cheng.  Students who raise $5 in pledges can wear pajamas to school on the day of the read-a-thon. The Top 3 in pledges will receive a fabulous prize! Encourage family and friends to make donation pledges to support your reading.
