CHILD CARE ASSISTANTS*
• Positions available in tuition & GSRP/Head Start, classrooms combined at Berkley Building Blocks
• $15.15-$17.22/hour
• Full time & part time available, varying shifts
• Primary Job Duties: Assisting the classroom teacher in the general supervision and management of the class, implementing classroom activities, assisting in the child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development

CUSTODIAL/MAINTENANCE
- Maintenance & Full-time Custodians
- Compensation per the current AFSCME agreement
- Substitute Custodians: $13.50/hour
- Full time - 40 hours/week, varying shifts
- Primary Job Duties: Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation, making repairs,supporting the classroom environment
LATCHKEY (KIDS' ZONE) ASSISTANTS
- Positions available at multiple locations
- $15.00/hr
- 7-8 AM and/or 3-6 PM
- Primary Job Duties: Responsible for assisting lead teacher in the general supervision and management of Kids’ Zone, as well as implementing the programs activities

- Primary Job Duties: Meal prep, supervising students and light cleaning

PARAEDUCATORS

- 30 hours/week, 10 month positions
- Primary Job Duties: Support students with special needs in the general education setting.
PERMANENT BUILDING SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS
- Positions available at all Berkley School District programs and buildings
- $150/day
- Full time - 7.5 hours/day
- Primary Job Duties: Report daily to assigned school and take on classroom duties in case of a daily or extended teacher absence, teaching prepared lessons or preparing their own instructional materials.
