Berkley Education Foundation
The Berkley Education Foundation (BEF) creates and facilitates fantastic experiences to enrich the lives of all students in the District. With community support, the BEF does this by: Supporting student scholarships for the BHS Maxfield Science Symposium, sending all 8th grade students on college tours annually, funding teacher innovation-grants for innovative ideas and experiences in and outside their classrooms, providing a free enrichment program to elementary students, and thinking about future ways to support Berkley Schools.
The BEF hosts one big fundraiser, Off to the Races, each year to fund its giving initiatives. Mark your calendar for the annual simulated horse racing event in February with an expansive silent auction. Every dollar raised funds enriching experiences for students.
For more information, please visit the Berkley Education Foundation website and follow them on the BEF's Facebook Page.
