October is LGBT History Month

LGBT History Month celebrates the achievements of 31 lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender Icons. Each day in October, a new LGBT Icon is featured with a video, bio, bibliography, downloadable images and other resources.

• Visit the LBGT history month website to learn about each of the 31 icons being highlighted in 2022, including Amy Schneider, Jazz Jennings and Hans Christian Andersen.
• October 11th is also National Coming Out Day. For more information and resources, visit the American Psychological Association website on National Coming Out Day.
