Angell Celebrates Angells Around the World

On May 2, 2024, Angell Elementary School celebrated their cultural festival, Angells Around the World. The event, sponsored by the Angell PTA DEI Committee, turned the playground into a global adventure for students and families. Angell families were invited to host a table to share their heritage, culture, artifacts and/or food. Families were able to experience various cultural treats, play games, join in activities and view an assortment of items from countries such as Germany, Lebanon, Ireland, Bulgaria, and many more. This interactive journey highlighted Berkley's rich cultural diversity while encouraging students to embrace and learn about different traditions.
