Students Experience a Total Solar Eclipse

On Monday, April 8, students across the District enjoyed witnessing the Total Solar Eclipse in the afternoon. Teachers spent time taking students outside at all grade levels with their solar eclipse glasses to witness the celestial event. Some students made multiple visits outside, drawing what they saw happening with the sun and moon. Others enjoyed going outside right as the eclipse was at its fullest. Some made paper hats that incorporated their glasses. It was a fun day to learn about science for all learners!
